Using labels

Organize your events with labels

So that you can optimally manage your events, sipgate offers you a practical event labeling function. Labels take over the task of folders and make it easier for you to find certain events.

You can create an unlimited amount of labels and then decide which events (calls, SMS, faxes and/or voicemails) you want to label. Events can have either one or more labels depending on your organizational needs.

This is how to create labels:

  • Click on Filters & Notifications and then click on the Add filter button.
  • Select the events (calls, faxes and/or voicemails) to which you want to attach a label to.
  • Check the Attach labels box.
  • Next, click on the dropdown menu and select an existing label or select add more to create a new label.
  • Then click on Save.
  • The selected event will then be immediately attached to this label.
  • You can also attach and/or create a label in your event list.
  • Mark an event that you would like to label by selecting the desired label from the dropdown menu titled More actions... You will find this located above the event list. The label will then be attached and displayed after the respective event or phone number.

Note: You can also create labels for later use by clicking on Labels on the left navigation bar and then by clicking on New.
