After Asterisk 1.6 installed, cannot receive calls
Since I have updated and/or installed Asterisk 1.6, I cannot receive phone calls anymore.
Possible Solution: Please check the setting "type" for your sipgate peer. If the setting type is displayed as "peer", asterisk cannot accept incoming calls and responds with the error message "401 Unauthorized". Please, adjust this setting to "type = friend", then incoming calls should be accepted again.
Important: Our general recommendation is to use “sip set debug” and “core set verbose 10” on the console to generate as much output as possible so that it can help with dealing with most problems.
